Quantity Surveyor - Construction Contractor - South Dublin Dublin
Office/Project Location: South Dublin
Employment Type: Permanent
Work Location: Office Based with site visits
Pay: €70K - 90K, depending on experience and negotiable for the right candidate.
Experience: 5+ years
Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required
Our client is one of Ireland's leading Building Contractors with several commercial and fit-out projects in South Dublin, Wicklow & Waterford.
They are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor based in South Dublin.
Responsibilities include:
* Advising on contractual matters at general and project levels.
* Processing contractual claims and maintaining records.
* Identifying opportunities to maximize revenue and reduce costs, and investigating losses.
* Assisting with project cash management.
* Supporting project correspondence.
* Negotiating and finalizing subcontractor agreements.
* Negotiating prices and terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Ensuring timely closure of final accounts.
* Drafting commercial and contractual correspondence promptly.
* Preparing subcontract and supplier documentation.
* Reviewing monthly cost reports.
* Updating risk registers, variation trackers, and extension of time sheets regularly.
* Measurement and pricing of variations.
* Negotiating variations with clients, other surveyors, and subcontractors.
Requirements
* Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
* 5+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on construction projects.
* Experience liaising with Commercial and Contracts Managers, clients, and attending meetings on-site.
* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
* Strong understanding of the construction industry and on-site work.
* Ability to work efficiently and meet challenging goals.
* Fluent English and eligibility to work in Ireland.
Package
Salary €70K - €90K, negotiable based on experience.
