Role Purpose

The Electronics Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for programming, configuring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable and efficient production. A strong knowledge of X/Y system programming is highly desirable. The role also involves creating and maintaining accurate manufacturing documentation to support production teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Program, calibrate, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment (with a focus on X/Y system programming).
* Develop, review, and update manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and equipment setup guides.
* Support production teams in resolving equipment or process-related issues.
* Ensure equipment is set up correctly for new product runs and engineering trials.
* Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and throughput.
* Maintain compliance with company quality standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations staff to optimize processes.
* Provide training or guidance to operators as needed on equipment use and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

* Technical diploma or degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or relevant experience.
* Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or equipment programming is highly advantageous.
* Strong understanding of X/Y coordinate programming systems and automated assembly/test machinery.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
* Experience with process documentation and manufacturing work instructions.
* Familiarity with ISO 9001/ISO 13485, IPC standards, or other quality management systems is an advantage.
