We have a fantastic opportunity for a Client Manager to join our Dublin based Client management team. The successful applicant will primarily work on a portfolio of Marsh's key Corporate Clients which will involve working closely with the Client Advisory Team other key stakeholders across the firm.

As a key stakeholder in delivering business success the Client Manager will direct the profitable handling and growth of client accounts through the delivery of the overall client relationship management strategy, and the acquisition of new clients. We will rely on you to:
Relationship Management
* Seek and build strong relationships at executive and operational levels and communicate the client's strategy across Marsh resources including having a full understanding of the individual's character buying styles and Risk and Insurance requirements.
* Responsibility for a portfolio of predominantly mid-sized and complex clients.
* Acts as an ambassador for Marsh with the client.
* Responsible for the direction, management & retention of Marsh's relationship with the client.
* Manage the communication between the client and service team members.
* Understand client business issues, needs and expectations.
* Seek feedback on Marsh's service through ongoing client dialogue.
* Seek and build strong relationships at executive and operational levels and with clients.
Client Service
* Identify the client's risk management, risk financing and insurance needs and objectives.
* Agree and implement client service agreements and letters of understanding.
* Actively monitor vulnerable client relationships and report if under threat to appropriate team.
* Ensure that diagnostic tools, Strat Plans are completed as appropriate to identify client risks and needs.
* Provide leadership by example of the proactive and enthusiastic service levels expected from client service teams.
* Act as a referral point for the resolution of complex client queries internally and externally.
* Host client and insurer meetings in conjunction with specialist broker and client service team.
* Agree and set renewal client service and rolling risk & claims management strategy with the client in accordance with Consumer Protection Code and Marsh DES guidelines.
* Overall responsibility for the co-ordination of Placement for each client.
* Lead and sign off programme design activities.
* Lead & develop new business initiatives and defensives including referral generation.
Procedures/Compliance
* Produce Client Service Agreement and monitor performance through client audits/interviews.
* Prepare and maintain a Client Portfolio Action Plan.
* Ensure operational and compliance procedures are followed.
* Produce stewardship report if required.
* Ensure New and Expanded business is properly recorded.
* Utilise multinational tools such as Marsh Global Connect, marsh Global Insight and NPT.
* Ensure MGC monthly deadlines are met for each client.
* Acturis and MPower usage.
Account Profitability
* Produce budget proposals and negotiate fees in line with account profitability/value proposition.
* Ensure regular contact with PO to ensure forecasting is correct and highlight to the business if PO is changing program or is going on a defensive RFP.
* Ensure that the services we provide are fairly compensated by the Producing Office for both NPT and commission cases, with an annual review to uphold fairness. And ensure Pricing of Services Review.
* Agree commission / fee with client through issuance of PAF and direct engagement.
People
* Ensure personal development plan in place to grow knowledge of clients business sector, commercial knowledge, insurance and risk and technical knowledge.
* Assist with the personal development of other team members.
What you will need to have:
* CIP qualified
* Experience in a similar role and strong knowledge of the industry
* The ability to maintain a high level of client service delivery adapting to client requirements and ensuring that client satisfaction is consistently high
* Strong Financial Awareness and Commercial Acumen
* The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Excellent Business and Market Awareness and a strong network
* Results focused with the ability to deliver against challenging targets
* The ability to maintain clear lines of communication with various internal and external stakeholders
* The ability to identify areas to improve efficiency, accuracy and analysis and suggest ways of improvement
