Key Account Manager
In your new role as Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts in Ireland for the full product portfolio (sensing, monitoring and control solutions).
You will maintain existing client relationships whilst acquiring, developing and converting new accounts.
Responsibilities
* Account Management & Growth
* Monitor account performance (sales, margin, product mix) and take corrective actions if required.
* Review customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
* Identify and qualify prospective customers (e.g. manufacturing, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, HVAC, cold chain, industrial automation).
* Conduct market research to uncover underserved areas or verticals.
* Contribute to the development of pricing/proposals and ensure competitiveness while protecting margin.
* Develop or maintain deep understanding of the product range.
* Liaise with technical teams/product/R&D to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Build forecasts, pipelines, and report regularly on sales performance, lead status, risks, and opportunities.
* Develop territory/account strategies aligned with overall company goals.
* Work closely with internal teams: marketing, operations/logistics, customer support/technical support.
* Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events in Ireland.
* Be on site dealing with the customer from project start to finish, ensuring any issues that arise are rectified in a timely manner.
Skills & Experience
* At least 5 years in technical sales/account management in industrial sensors, instrumentation, control systems, or related engineering products.
* Experience growing both existing accounts and building new ones in a B2B industrial environment.
* Technical acumen.
* Comfort with technical products.
* Ability to interpret technical documents and liaise with engineering/technical stakeholders in customer organisations.
