Vanrath is working in partnership with a growing business on the appointment of a senior health, safety and environmental professional. This is a full-time permanent position which offers a long-term career with the chance to move upwards in line with their expansion plans.
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 3pm, Dundalk - Permanent

The Role
* To develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs aligned with legal requirements, industry standards, and client expectations for data centre projects across multiple European locations.
* Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
* Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting, ensuring timely corrective actions and continuous improvement.
* Provide expert advice and support to project teams during all phases including design, offsite prefabrication, modularisation, and onsite installation.
* Collaborate closely with operations teams, client representatives, and subcontractors to embed safe working practices and environmental stewardship into daily operations.
* Drive training and awareness programs to build competency and engagement across all teams.
* Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, ensuring transparency and effective communication with senior management and stakeholders.
* Facilitate client audits and site visits, acting as the primary point of contact for all health, safety, and environmental matters.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience as an HSE Manager or similar role within construction, mechanical, electrical, or data centre sectors, understanding the unique challenges they present.
* Strong knowledge of European health, safety, and environmental legislation, standards, and industry best practices (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
* Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or International Diploma and equivalent environmental qualifications.
