Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Occupational Therapist to lead our innovative two-year project, aimed at empowering adults with moderate intellectual disability to gain greater independence and achieve their personal life goals.
The successful candidate will conduct functional assessments to identify opportunities and risks, ensuring individuals can live as independently and safely as possible. They will develop and deliver targeted interventions that support safe daily living, including personal care, community access, and home management.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
* CORU registration (or eligibility for same)
* Demonstrated experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
* Strong expertise in functional assessment, teaching and enabling independence skills, and the use of assistive technology to promote autonomy
