This is a flagship modernisation programme aimed at re-engineering a core legacy system into a secure, scalable, web-based platform. The RTE will play a pivotal role in enabling agile delivery, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving innovation and value across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesLaunch and Lead the Agile Release Train (ART):Establish a new ART and drive delivery of complex transformation initiatives, building a culture of alignment, transparency, and continuous value flow.Legacy System Modernisation:Lead the ART through a major re-platforming programme, converting existing native applications into a state-of-the-art digital solution.Embed Agile and SAFe Practices:Coach teams and stakeholders in Agile, Lean, and SAFe practices to promote a mature, high-performing agile culture.Lead all essential ART ceremonies including PI Planning, System Demos, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.Proactively identify and resolve blockers, escalations, and systemic issues impacting delivery.Manage Dependencies and Risks:Ensure smooth coordination between teams within the ART and external stakeholders, tracking interdependencies and delivery risks.Progress Tracking and Reporting:Monitor programme-level progress using Agile metrics and reporting tools. Deliver clear, concise updates to leadership and stakeholders.Drive ongoing improvement through retrospectives, team feedback, and performance data.Promote Innovation and Best Practice:Encourage the adoption of cutting-edge tools and delivery practices, supporting digital transformation in a regulated environment.Required Skills and Experience5+ years of experience in Agile programme leadership roles, including as an RTE or Agile Programme Manager.Proven ability to launch and lead Agile Release Trains in enterprise environments.In-depth knowledge of SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and Agile frameworks.Prior experience in financial services or other regulated environments.Strong understanding of legacy system re-platforming and web application development.Exceptional facilitation, communication, and coaching skills.Experience using tools such as Jira, Rally, Confluence, or similar.Demonstrated ability to manage cross-team dependencies and influence stakeholders at all levels.Desirable QualificationsSAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) CertificationBackground in software delivery, DevOps, or infrastructure projectsFamiliarity with compliance, security, and governance in financial servicesPFH Technology, owned by Ricoh – a Japanese based global ICT company, is a premier provider of end-to-end ICT solutions and a managed services portfolio scaling from SMEs to large Enterprise organisations.
