About This Role
This is a specified purpose contract for an experienced Occupational Therapist. The role offers a rewarding and flexible opportunity in mental health, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to clients.
Key Responsibilities
* You will work autonomously and collaboratively with team members to provide services at clinical bases and within clients' homes.
* You will be responsible for managing the Occupational Therapy Service across CAMHS services, using evidence-based principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
* The OT will carry a complex caseload and complete occupational therapy-specific assessments and interventions.
* As part of the multidisciplinary team, you will complete some generic mental health work, such as initial intake assessments, and hold a key working role.
* The OT will supervise a Staff-grade Occupational Therapist.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
* Full CORU registration.
* At least three years of full-time post-qualification clinical experience.
* Experience of working within Mental Health, preferably with CAMHS.
* Able to manage and develop self and others in a busy working environment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with others.
