The Role
Sofina Foods is seeking a results-driven and collaborative Regional Head of Operations to lead our manufacturing operations across the Republic of Ireland. This pivotal role carries full responsibility for ensuring efficient, high-performing, and customer-focused operations across four sites.
Working in close partnership with Site Managers and functional leaders in Technical, Finance, HR, and Commercial, you will drive business performance, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and develop empowered, capable site leadership teams.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day operational delivery across four ROI manufacturing sites, ensuring business and production objectives are consistently met
* Oversee all key operational functions: Production, Engineering, Health & Safety, Supply Chain, and Warehousing
* Drive delivery of site KPIs, including cost control, customer service, quality, OEE, and operational efficiency
* Embed a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and accountability across all functions
* Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives, resource optimisation, and business growth
* Champion food safety and health & safety standards, ensuring full compliance with legal, internal and retailer expectations
* Coach and develop site leadership teams, building capability, ownership, and succession pipelines
* Represent ROI operations in internal and external forums, including customer-facing interactions
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded operations leader with a strong track record of delivering results in FMCG manufacturing.
You Will Bring
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior operations management within the FMCG sector
* Proven experience leading large-scale, complex operations across chilled and ambient product categories
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing best practices, performance improvement tools, and retailer requirements
* Demonstrable expertise in performance management, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and change leadership
* Excellent communication, leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop high-performing teams
* A customer-focused and commercially aware mindset
