Project Nature (T26) On-going Support of the Computerised Social Security System II (CSSS-II) for the Social Welfare Department
Duties
Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the SWD.
This officer will be required to provide on-going support to the maintenance and enhancements of the technical infrastructure of CSSS-II which is a mission critical system.
Monitor the performance of the CSSS-II server platform and system environments.
Coordinate with application development teams on the on-going support and testing of the CSSS-II system.
Coordinate with different parties to support system integration with external systems.
Coordinate with different parties to conduct disaster recovery drill.
Assure the quality of project deliverables.
Supervise Systems Analysts / Analyst Programmers to carry out their duties.
Perform on-call support duties.

Requirements
The candidate must have solid experience in the implementation of server virtualization infrastructure for large-scale system.
Solid experience in the configuration of server infrastructure for high availability system.
Solid experience in enterprise-grade Linux, JBOSS Application Midrange Server and Storage Area Network.
Experience in support of mission critical system environment is required.
Technical Skills
At least 4 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN).
At least 4 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT).
At least 3 years' experience in Tivoli Storage Management (TSM).
At least 3 years' experience in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP).
At least 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN).
4 years' experience in IBM AIX Administration (IAA) is an advantage.
3 years' experience in HACMP (HAC) is an advantage.
2 years' experience in Multi-tier System Integration (MSI) is an advantage.
2 years' experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skill: 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage.
Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
