Vertiv are seeking to recruit an ambitious and motivated Engineering Student to join our team at our plant in Burnfoot, Donegal.
The successful candidate will be in full time third level education where they must take a 1 year placement in industry. RESPONSIBILITIES
* Reporting to the Department Head this position presents an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the R&D / Product Development design aspects of Busbar and contribute to product improvements of same.
* The main remit of the role will involve working with senior R&D engineers and the Busbar Product manager in the preparation of detailed mechanical drawings and documentation for Busbar and other support functions for this part of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Be enrolled in a third level Engineering course with a bias towards Mechanical Engineering
• An understanding of Engineering Design Principles.
• Working knowledge and experience with 3D modelling and 2D drafting of product designs.
• Experience with MS Office packages: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc
