Demand Planner (6-9 Month Fixed Term Contract)
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Demand Planner (6-9 Month Fixed Term Contract). This role will play a key part in ensuring products are available in the Distribution system to support the Commercial Strategy and meet our Customers' service requirements.

Key Accountabilities:
* Ensure accurate ordering of products to support sales
* Forecast to reduce excess stock while maximizing availability
* Ensure all product support documentation is received to support delivery
* Improve profitability within the department regarding excess stock and dumping
* Work with suppliers to ensure effective product supply
* Assist in meeting and exceeding targets for the Replenishment Department
* Maintain good relationships with all suppliers
* Liaise with the Replenishment Manager on orders for promotions and forward buys
* Interpret sales reports and data to minimize markdowns, overstocks, and dumping
Requirements:
* Excellent PC skills and systems knowledge; Excel and familiarity with AX and MRP are advantageous but training will be provided
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Flexible, innovative, and creative attitude towards all business issues
* Problem-solving skills
* Team player willing to interact with customers and suppliers
* Willingness to work weekends, bank holidays, and outside core hours
