At our C D Foods site in Edgeworthstown we are currently inviting applications for the role of Warehouse Manager.
As Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of products, and maintaining high standards of inventory control and safety.
Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the Supply Chain team to handle all aspects of the running of a busy warehouse.
All stock movements to be completed accurately and in real time on the company MRP system.
Constant monitoring and evaluation of available data to ensure optimal warehouse layout and stock integrity is being achieved.
Ensure procedural controls in place for all activities Ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full Ensure the Warehouse is Managed to comply with all Quality Standards, (BRC, IFS, ETI, Customer Specific, Pest Control, NCR's) Manage customer delivery/collection requirements daily ensuring delivery on time and in full.
To Manage the MHE (Forklift) requirement for the site, ensuring the fleet is maintained to the required standard To ensure the site is legally compliant on any associated transport activities, including Import/Export Requirements Ensure contracted Security Provider of Man Guarding is delivering to meet the needs of the business through well defined Assignment Instructions whilst ensuring the site remains secure at all times Through Risk Assessment ensure the site has appropriate controls in place to deter, prevent unauthorised entry and support Food Defence requirements Ensure the site external area(s) are monitored and controlled - Pallet Storage Areas, Trailer/Vehicle Parking, Car Park Identify areas for process improvement and implement agreed solutions within the department.
Leading the team of employees providing clear direction and efficiency Supporting and helping the supervisors and general operatives whenever required At all times ensure that the Health and Safety requirements are adhered to by the entire team Skills Experience Required: 5 years proved experience in Warehouse Management.
Experience of goods in and goods out, ideally in an FMCG environment.
Good working knowledge if Warehouse Systems, ERP Systems and Excel.
Experience in stock management -stock counting cycles on a daily and periodic basis.
Ability to delegate in line with setting the expectation, assigning responsibility and ensuring responsibility is taken by your team.
Collaborative and confident to constructively challenge for the right result with an ability to influence peers and senior managers.
