The Role: To ensure that the cleaning standards are achieved and maintained to enable St. Luke's General Hospital Carlow/Kilkenny to provide an efficient and effective Housekeeping services, to satisfy HIQA Requirements.
The hours of work for housekeeping services will/can include:
Night Duty Weekend Work Unsocial Hours Shift work The Person: 1. Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc (a) Candidates must have the personal competence and capacity to properly discharge the duties of the role.
(i) Possess a Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
Or
(ii) FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Health Service Skills or Healthcare Support.
Or
(iii) A relevant Healthcare qualification
Post Specific Requirements: Demonstrate experience working in the cleaning/catering or hospitality industry.
Demonstrate satisfactory experience in a supervisory/management role.
Post Specific Requirements: Access to appropriate transport to fulfil the requirements of the role.
