Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced EHS professional to join our team as an Environmental Health and Safety Advisor.
This permanent position is based in Cork, Ireland and offers great career opportunities with a leading Main MEP Contractor.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Health and Safety Manager in ensuring site personnel comply with safety requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Health and Safety Manager in implementing and maintaining the company's Safety Management System.
* Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks.
* Providing training and development opportunities for site personnel to enhance their health and safety knowledge and skills.
* Delivering effective health and safety inductions and toolbox talks to site personnel.
* Chairing safety meetings to discuss and address any health and safety concerns or issues.
* Reviewing subcontractors' risk assessments and providing guidance where required.
* Assisting with accident investigation reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
* Preparation of weekly reports to monitor and evaluate health and safety performance.
