Your success will contribute to the facilities' overall throughput while simultaneously developing your own skills in a coveted and highly technical industry.Person SpecificationYou are safety focused and have proven leadership skills and experienceA strong team player with ability to work well within a diverse teamHave excellent organisational, time keeping, and communication skillsAbility to adapt to different tasks and to prioritise activitiesYou are looking for a new challenge and to develop your careerWork ScheduleThis is a 6-12 month fixed term contract39-hour regular working week (Monday to Friday)Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesManagement of Customer's EHS program at site level: leadership engagement, customer EHS single point of contact, deliver instructor-led Life Saving Rules training, monitor EHS KPIs, establish key safety focus areas for site.Manage and interpret EHS-related documentation, including but not limited to: Customer Safety documentation & procedures, safety indicators (leading/lagging), incident logs (near miss/good catch, injury, and environment)Perform thorough incident investigations to ensure actions are put in place to prevent further occurrenceProvide sustaining support for the field operations team (safety review board support, permit to work reviews etc.)Create and effectively distribute toolbox talks, safety communications, and informational presentations. Engage closely with the site management teamPerform in-fab GEMBA walks (behavioral safety observations) in partnership with operations teamsPartner, collaborate, and communicate with customer on safety program initiativesWork with EU EHS Manager to land Top-X structural safety issues towards VHV and track progressDemonstrate leadership and a strong desire to protect our employees, our business and the environment leading with a safety-first mind-setCompile and maintain the environmental, health and safety legislative register and ensure the company's compliance with all relevant legislation and best practicesConduct regular risk assessments and safety audits, report findings and ensure closure of auditsEnsure employees are identifying and reporting hazards and near-misses and communicate the findings and preventative actions to all employeesConduct and assist in incident and accident reporting, identify the root cause, and implement corrective actions within a timely manner to prevent the re-occurrence of incidents.
