Senior Finance Professional Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Senior Finance Professional to join our busy finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the creditors and debtors ledger, assisting with month-end and year-end preparations, bank reconciliations, liaising with external auditors, dealing with queries, payment runs, and VAT returns.
As part of this role, you will also be involved in payroll preparation and assist with various projects as required. To succeed in this position, you will need to have over 4 years of experience as a senior accounts assistant or bookkeeper in a similar environment. Having not-for-profit experience would be an advantage.
You will require strong accounting software skills, proficiency in Excel, and excellent attention to detail. AACA/CIMA or ACA Part Qualified status, or equivalent qualification, is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the full finance function, including creditors and debtors ledger
* Assist with month-end and year-end preparations, bank reconciliations, and liaise with external auditors
* Deal with queries, payment runs, and VAT returns
* Be involved in payroll preparation and assist with various projects as required
Requirements:
* Over 4 years of experience as a senior accounts assistant or bookkeeper
* Not-for-profit experience advantageous
* AACA/CIMA or ACA Part Qualified status, or equivalent qualification
