We are seeking an experienced and passionate Ecologist to lead our ecological team in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving forward ecological services, overseeing environmental projects, and providing expert advice on biodiversity conservation initiatives.

The successful candidate will:

* Lead and manage ecological surveys, assessments, and biodiversity plans for infrastructure, construction, and land-use developments.
">
* Provide expert ecological advice on planning applications, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Habitats Directive Assessments (HDA).
">
* Oversight the preparation and review of high-quality ecological reports.
">
* Develop and maintain client relationships ensuring clear communication and project updates.
">
* Manage a team of ecologists supporting their professional development and fostering a collaborative working environment.
">
* Ensure all projects comply with Irish and EU environmental regulations.
">
* Cultivate business opportunities through networking, identifying new projects, and expanding ecological service offerings.

Key qualifications include:
">
A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline (postgraduate qualification preferred)
">
Minimum 8-10 years experience in ecological consultancy, preferably as a senior member of staff
">
Full membership of a professional body such as CIEEM
">
Familiarity with Irish and EU environmental legislation, policies, and guidelines
">
Experience in leading and delivering Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA) and Habitats Regulations Assessments (HRA)
">
