Office Administrator – Programme Submissions Coordinator
Our client, based in Cahir, Co.
Tipperary, an organisation dedicated to providing QQI validated, quality assured education and training programmes to the agricultural sector, is seeking an ambitious Office Administrator – Programme Submissions Coordinator to join their expanding team.
The Role:
The main purpose of the role is to be the main point of contact for learner engagement regarding the submission of projects/assignments for the Green Cert programme.
This will involve supporting the learners once they have enrolled onto their course, right through until they have achieved their QQI Certification.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, responsibilities to include:
Opening post on a daily basis
Tracking projects and assignments submitted via post or online and date stamping them
Sending receipt messages to learners on Compass (Student Management System)
Sending reminder messages to learners on Compass System
Following up with learners who are late submitting assignments and projects to ensure they submit same in a timely manner
Printing off projects and assignments for correction
Checking the quality of the assignments and projects to ensure it meets the necessary standards
Preparing projects and assignments for correction
Preparing correction sheets
Ensuring there are a sufficient number of correctors available to upcoming assignments and projects
Continuously liaising with correctors to ensure corrections are completed within the appropriate timeframes
Escalating any concerns arising from course projects or assignments to line manager and providing cover for the administration team as required
Assisting with any other administrative tasks as required to ensure the smooth running of the office
Skills & Experience that we need:
A qualification in administration or equivalent
2 years post-qualification experience working in a busy office environment
Experience with MS Teams and MS Office essential
Experience in customer relations
Sufficient professional knowledge to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role
Ability to build good interpersonal relationships with learners, correctors and administration staff
Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanour
The Offer:
The is a full-time permanent role with competitive salary of €32,000 K-€33,500 K per annum, depending on candidates' experience and qualifications.
This role is based in the company's office in Cahir, Co.
Tipperary so candidates must be based in the region or able to commute a short distance.
