About the Role
We're partnering with a growing retail/e-commerce company in the Los Angeles metro area that's hiring a Controller-a high-impact role with a clear path to CFO within ~3-4 years.
As Controller, you'll own the company's full accounting function. This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager in retail/e-commerce who's ready to step into a leadership role.
What You'll Do
Oversee all accounting operations, including AR/AP, month-end close, reconciliations, audits, and compliance
Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function
Partner cross-functionally with leadership to support business growth
Ensure financial accuracy, timeliness, and GAAP compliance
Support HR team with benefits administration as needed
What We're Looking For
Strong accounting fundamentals, GAAP knowledge, and financial reporting experience
Proven background in retail/e-commerce accounting
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
