NUA Manufacturing seeks a
HR Coordinator
to join its HR team.
Reporting directly to the Senior HR Business Partner, this role is ideal for a HR professional with 1–2 years experience who is looking to broaden exposure across multiple HR areas.
Weekly travel between our Carlow and Arklow facilities is required.
This role offers hands-on experience across recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, HR & Learning Management systems engagement, and project work, making it an ideal next step for someone looking to develop their HR career.
The HR Coordinator supports day-to-day operation of the HR function across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain training matrix, training requests and ensure training records are up-to-date
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Prepare HR reports and ensure the accuracy of employee data
Assist with employee engagement initiatives and wider HR projects
Support the team with day-to-day HR operations and continuous improvement activities
Ensure our HR and Learning Management systems are accurate and up-to-date
Assist the team with the full recruitment process, including coordinating interviews, onboarding new hires, and maintaining recruitment records
Work with the team to ensure required information is provided to Payroll for processing
Support our managers with implementation and co-ordination of HR processes including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters
Act as a first point of contact for employee HR queries
Provide administrative support across employee relations processes, including note-taking during meetings and investigations
Assist with the review and updating of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
Key Skills & Experience – Essential
1-2 years' experience in a HR Administrator/Coordinator role, or similar
Good knowledge of HR practices and Irish employment law
Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
