Junior Investment Fees and Reconciliation Analyst
This is a key role within the Investment Control team, responsible for collating and reconciling custodian data feeds, reporting under Solvency II Regulation to the Central Bank of Ireland, and calculating fees on the UPE book.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monthly and Quarterly reconciliation of key data feeds from custodians for Solvency II reporting.
* Analyse policy tolerance discrepancies and investigate with internal and external parties to justify movements.
* Keep internal systems up to date by adding/closing policies and accounts, adding new entities, and maintaining the Central Data Repository (CDR) database when new securities are identified as part of reconciliation.
* Load policy valuations to internal systems for Solvency II reporting and fees calculation.
* Generate fee invoices and issue them to relevant custodian banks.
* Download and process daily and weekly bank statements to identify payments received.
* Issue broker commission statements once custodian payments have been received.
* Build relationships with assigned custodian banks to ensure timely and accurate data feeds and efficient payment of outstanding fees.
* Monitor these relationships and identify issues affecting customer satisfaction, reporting to management.
* Support collection of IDD and MiFID fees, reconcile values against tolerances, and assist operations with AVS queries as necessary.
* Collect Italian Stamp Duty (ISD) funds.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and systems, appreciating controls and risk management in a regulatory environment.
* Work as part of a team, assisting colleagues as necessary to meet team deadlines.
* Be proactive and troubleshoot issues using initiative and experience.
* Perform Ad-Hoc Administration duties and project work as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Highly organised and efficient in a regulated environment with a strong work ethic.
* Experience dealing with Third Parties Custodians/brokers with ability to solve issues efficiently.
* Experience working in a diverse, multicultural team is an advantage.
* Strong track record of working within financial services operations.
* Able to recognise impact of external changes to the business.
* Able to manage, monitor, and measure assigned work to deliver high service levels.
* Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Solid knowledge of MS-Office Suite, especially Excel.
* Fluency in Italian is appreciated but not essential.
* Trustworthy and dependable to uphold high working standards when working remotely.
