About the Role
The Security Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact at our client's offices in Dublin 2. This role requires a polished, professional presence and the ability to navigate high-profile situations, coordinate with security teams, and ensure an exceptional experience for all guests. You will work Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30, in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
Responsibilities
* Work directly with the on‑site reception team, adding the security layer to the reception program.
* Maintain a highly visible, professional presence in reception and event areas.
* Serve as the first point of contact for all employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
* Oversee all visitor management processes, including credential issuance, access authorization, and security verification.
* Coordinate with security and facilities teams to ensure safe, efficient visitor flow during high‑traffic events and executive visits.
* Monitor site activity and report hazards, unusual activity, or security breaches.
* Respond decisively to incidents, including medical emergencies, security concerns, and special requests, ensuring proper escalation and resolution.
* Escort visitors and executives as needed, ensuring comfort, safety, and discretion throughout their stay.
* Investigate security‑related incidents and prepare detailed reports.
* Support emergency response efforts, including first aid and coordination with EMS or law enforcement.
* Demonstrate strong conflict management skills with tact, discretion, and composure in high‑pressure situations.
Qualifications & Skills
* 3–5 years of experience in corporate reception, physical security, or guest services in a high‑profile or executive‑facing environment. Previous security experience is an advantage.
* Certification in security training, first aid, or CPR is a plus.
* Strong observational and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to manage VIP/executive engagements and high‑traffic events with professionalism.
* Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to stay calm and focused in emergency situations.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
