The Role and the Hiring Manager
The focus will be on key brands within the Healthy brands portfolio. The Head of Category Management emphasizes relationship building, analytical skills, initiative, and the ability to challenge thinking. Strong presentation and influencing skills are crucial, along with a category mindset aimed at driving growth for both the brands and the category as a whole.
Salary is negotiable (circa €50,000-€60,000), and candidates should have 3-5 years of FMCG experience in category management or insights. The role offers a hybrid work model and attainable targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Collaborate with agencies to identify insights and data sources, translating them into actionable category plans.
* Localize the category vision by integrating insights and data, driving growth through customer-specific initiatives.
* Provide regular updates on category performance to stakeholders.
* Analyze sales, pricing, promotions, and identify opportunities for volume growth.
* Manage new product introductions and performance analyses.
* Offer a comprehensive view of market dynamics, shopper behavior, and marketplace trends.
* Ensure timely delivery of range events aligned with merchandising schedules.
* Incorporate shopper and consumer insights into NPD, promotions, and JBP strategies.
* Identify shopping opportunities within the category.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
* Excellent communication skills to convey analytics across organizational levels.
* Deep industry knowledge, including trade classes, customer groups, and competitive strategies.
* Ability to interact effectively with peers and management.
* Teamwork and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Strong analytical and project management skills.
