Job Summary
The role of the Senior Speech and Language Therapist is to work as a senior member of an interdisciplinary team providing services to children and families within the region.
This position involves provision of a speech and language therapy service, including assessment, diagnostics, intervention, clinical supervision, and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities.
Services are currently provided to children aged 0-18 years with physical, sensory, learning disabilities, developmental delay, and autism.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provision of a speech and language therapy service to children with complex needs
* Assessment, diagnostics, and intervention for children with communication disorders
* Clinical and performance supervision of junior staff members
* Ongoing service delivery to children with high support requirements
Requirements:
* Registration as a Speech & Language Therapist by the relevant registration board
* 3 years full-time post-qualification clinical experience
* Requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of duties
* Proof of registration on the relevant register
