Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Health and Safety Manager to lead the implementation of health and safety strategies across various residential and commercial projects in Wexford. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for driving a positive safety culture, ensuring legal compliance, and promoting best practices on site.
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in a senior health and safety role within the construction sector, along with a strong working knowledge of Irish construction safety legislation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Developing and managing the company's health and safety policies and site safety plans.
* Conducting regular risk assessments, audits, and site inspections.
* Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance across all construction activities.
* Leading incident investigations and following up with corrective actions.
* Delivering health and safety training programs to staff and subcontractors.
* Tracking safety KPIs and reporting performance to senior leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in a senior health and safety role within the construction sector.
NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Health and Safety.
Strong working knowledge of Irish construction safety legislation.
