We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Homecare Technician to join a well-established and growing medical devicecompany with a depot based in Waterford. This is a full-time, permanent role and will involve carrying out deliveries, installations, and removals of oxygen products for HSE patients. This position will be a mix of on-the-road doing multi-drop deliveries and in the depot. Strong customer service skills are required, keeping the needs of the patients in my at all times.
Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. This position will require you to be on a rota for out-of-hours midweek and weekend cover for call-outs, once every 10 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To carry out deliveries, installations, and removals of oxygen products for patients in the Waterford region.
2. Support the day-to-day running of the depot and provide cover for the Depot Manager when required.
3. Assist with the preparation of receiving and sending stock.
4. Unload/load delivery trucks using a forklift or other available lifting aids.
5. Assist the Depot Manager with quarterly/year-end stock counts.
6. Assist the Depot Manager with monitoring and controlling consumable stock with a view to minimising losses.
7. Log and report failed machine stock.
8. Liaise with the Depot Manager regarding maintenance and repair of depot infrastructure,
9. Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
Requirements:
10. Previous experience in a delivery or multi-drop role.
11. Significant experience working in a customer-focused role.
12. Experience of working in a medical environment is desirable but not essential.
13. Full clean driving license.
14. Excellent IT skills.
15. Experience in leading a team is highly desirable.
16. Will require Garda Vetting.
