Kennedys is seeking a Litigation Assistant to join our Dublin office. This role involves providing legal and administrative support to solicitors handling motor claims, assisting in case management, legal research and liaising with clients, insurers and third parties.TeamKennedys liability team provides strategic advice on underwriting, coverage and management of claims through the litigation process with particular expertise in travel, fraud, product liability, catastrophic injury, property subrogation and motor claims.Key ResponsibilitiesOrganising client papersAccompanying fee earners to meetings and note-takingPreparing draft court papers for review by lawyers on the teamLiaising with witnesses, counsel and experts, including organising consultationsObtaining medical recordsPreparing briefs to counselReviewing CCTVAssisting with preparations for trialAttending on counsel at court and taking attendance notesDiarising all court and other deadlines for the teamCompleting payment requisitionsRequired Experience1-2 years previous experience in a defence legal support, paralegal or litigation assistant role (experience with motor related claims is advantageous).Strong knowledge of litigation procedures in Ireland.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and client-focused approach.Please let us know if you require any additional support or adjustments to be made in order to submit your application to Kennedys.
