Job Description

You will be responsible for providing full life-cycle support to Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. This includes performing design and equipment submittal review, troubleshooting, conducting Root Cause Analysis, creating Corrective Action documentation, and directly supporting operational issues.
Additionally, you will own the conceptual design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions, which add capacity, improve availability, increase efficiency and sustainability. You will also interface with internal data center operations team, data center design engineering team, server hardware team, environmental health and safety team to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered.
Furthermore, you will develop innovative solutions for Data Centers, work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions, and initiate and lead engineering audits including on-site visits within Data Centers. You will produce reports outlining risks with recommended mitigations and remediations, and act as resident engineer during new construction projects.

Key responsibilities include possessing strong engineering judgment, being detail and data oriented, having experience solving problems with engineered solutions, managing engineering projects and consultants, building trust and relationships with different stakeholders, and being adaptable and inclined to get into the field to see things up close.
