F&B Manager
Responsibilities
To provide leadership and senior management skills across the Front of House (FoH) teams, under the guidance of the F&B Director and Assistant Director. To share responsibility for the year-over-year growth and financial success of Oliveto, Parlour, Garden, Events & Breakfast. To deliver a five-star guest experience consistently. The role encompasses daily F&B duties, administration, project work, staff training, and ensuring standards and SOPs are maintained at all times.
Key Tasks
1. Ensure all F&B departments surpass weekly sales targets while adhering to labour and GP targets.
2. Take frontline responsibility for the FoH service teams (floor and bar) and all aspects of front of house operations.
3. Share responsibility for cash sheet management, timepoint management, and roster oversight.
4. Build personal relationships with guests to secure repeat business.
5. Enhance HH's reputation through professional and warm F&B service.
6. Train, motivate, and retain the best service team through ongoing coaching, encouragement, and support.
7. Develop a strong working relationship with the kitchen team to ensure successful FoH service operation.
8. Manage guest bookings in line with SOPs, balancing revenue goals and atmosphere with kitchen operations.
9. Implement a process to swiftly address guest feedback across all platforms.
10. Ensure friendly and professional handling of phone and online bookings, following communication protocols.
11. Maintain cleanliness in all FoH spaces and ensure staff are actively engaged.
12. Ensure staff wear uniforms correctly per company standards as outlined in the Staff Handbook.
13. Assist with ordering, goods check-in, roster management, and general audits.
14. Participate in project-specific tasks as assigned.
15. Support marketing efforts by assisting with social media content creation, in line with brand guidelines.
Job Requirements
1. Based in Haddington House, Dún Laoghaire.
2. Six-month probation period.
3. Managerial dress code in line with brand standards (uniform provided).
4. Preferably hold a third-level degree in hotel management or hospitality.
5. Proven F&B experience in a reputable hotel or restaurant, up to Assistant F&B Manager level.
