An established and growing cost management consultancy is seeking to appoint a Senior Cost Manager to join their experienced commercial team in Dublin. This is a senior-level role offering exposure to complex, high-value projects across multiple sectors, with a clear pathway toward managing key client accounts.This position would suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager who enjoys client-facing work, leading commissions, and mentoring junior staff, while remaining hands-on across the full project lifecycle.The RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in delivering full cost management services from early feasibility through to final account, working across a diverse portfolio of projects including data centres, infrastructure, commercial offices, healthcare, education, residential, hospitality, and retail.You will be trusted to lead commissions, advise clients strategically, and contribute to the continued growth and evolution of the consultancy.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver full lifecycle cost management services from feasibility, cost planning and procurement through to final accountsPrepare and manage detailed cost plans, budgets, cashflows and financial reportsProvide strategic commercial advice including value engineering, procurement strategies, benchmarking and risk mitigationManage variations and change control processes, ensuring alignment with agreed budgetsAct as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholdersLead, mentor and support junior and intermediate QS/Cost ManagersContribute to wider business operations where required (QA, systems, process improvement, etc.)Support the adoption and development of digital cost management tools and best practicesRequirementsDegree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Commercial Management or similar (RICS / SCSI accredited)Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a cost management / PQS environmentChartered or working toward chartership (MRICS / SCSI)Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement routesExcellent commercial acumen with strong reporting and analytical skillsComfortable working directly with senior clients and consultant teamsEligibility to work in Ireland / EUWhat’s on Offer€75,000 – €80,000 salary depending on experienceHybrid working model (3 days office / 2 days remote)24 days annual leaveCPD and professional development supportExposure to prestigious public and private sector projectsClear progression opportunities within a growing consultancyTo register your interest, please forward your CV to David Hickey at ProSource Recruitment or click “Apply Now”.ProSource Group is a specialist Irish recruitment company focusing on the Construction & Civil Engineering sectors across Ireland and Europe.
