Customs and Supply Chain Leadership
The role of the Customs and Supply Chain Manager is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing master data governance, trade compliance, SKU portfolio optimization, and performance reporting across the supply chain function.
This role ensures the integrity and agility of the supply chain in support of commercial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and manage customs operations.
* Oversee relationships with regulatory bodies.
* Ensure compliance with relevant customs codes and trade agreements.
* Stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes.
* Coordinate with internal teams to resolve compliance issues.
* Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory reporting.
* Support Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status.
* Lead master data governance across product and trade fields.
* Ensure data quality for critical supply chain fields.
* Develop internal controls and validation checks for data quality.
* Drive SKU rationalization efforts.
* Partner with departments to evaluate and remove obsolete SKUs.
* Ensure supply chain readiness for new product introductions and discontinuations.
* Develop dashboards and reports covering customs performance and trade risk exposure.
Requirements:
* Customs compliance certification or international trade expertise.
* Professional accreditation in supply chain or operations management.
