Job Summary:
Our client is a leading provider of utilities infrastructure who are hiring a HSQE Advisor to join their team on a pharmaceutical site in County Louth. This position will be responsible for overseeing site compliance with health, safety, environmental and sustainability policies. This job will be well suited for someone with a mix of pharmaceutical and construction site safety experience and while an initial contract will have strong prospect for extension.
Main Duties:
* As HSQE Advisor, your job will be ensuring the safe delivery of projects on site and ensure that all relevant standards, policies and procedures are adhered to.
* Instilling a positive health and safety culture within the teams' approach on site.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and maintaining awareness of any changes to legislation/industry standards.
* Providing an on-site HSQE presence during construction/operations to ensure proper monitoring of activity and mitigation as necessary.
* Ensuring that all EHS reporting and documentation requirements are complied with.
* Conducting investigations into accidents/incidents in a timely manner and implementing corrective action as needed.
* Any other duties required.
Your background:
* For this HSQE Advisor job, you will have at least 5 years' relevant experience, ideally within pharmaceutical/construction environments.
* You will also have a relevant third level qualification.
