Job Description
The process engineering manager will translate our clients’ needs into effective solutions that meet their requirements. The process engineering manager will play a critical role in translating customers' process requirements into deliverable, cost-effective, and profitable solutions. Playing a lead role with internal and external design teams and project managers, they will influence and optimise the design concepts into solutions that can be built safely and on time.
Responsibilities:
* Understand and document our clients' process needs and draft high-level design concepts that will be shared with customers.
* Work with design teams to establish reliable and efficient designs that meet our client’s needs.
* Work with project managers and tendering departments to cost proposed solutions.
* Support business development teams in preparing quotations and tender documents.
* Support staff on design, procurement, and project delivery.
* Provide assistance with SAT and FAT of solutions.
* Develop documentation supporting assembly, commissioning, and operation of modular solutions, including technical files for CE Mark self-certification, in collaboration with manufacturing.
* Define standard product offerings for the water and wastewater treatment market with the General Manager.
* Collaborate across project teams to ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.
Requirements:
* A minimum of L8 degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
* Managerial experience of process or design teams is advantageous.
* Commercial awareness to ensure proposals are cost-effective and profitable.
* Extensive technical knowledge of process design, construction, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants (modular experience advantageous).
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to travel to customer locations, primarily in Ireland and UK.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Project.
Package:
€75,000 - 95,000 per annum, dependent on relevant experience.
