Job Summary: As a Receptionist & Showroom Host at Johnson and Perrott Bishopstown, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing a warm welcome and delivering exceptional customer service. Your role includes managing front desk operations, handling inquiries and ensuring the showroom remains a premium and inviting environment. You will support the sales and service teams by coordinating customer visits and assisting with administrative tasks
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
* Provide a warm and professional welcome to all customers and visitors upon arrival at the showroom, ensuring a premium experience.
* Efficiently manage incoming telephone calls, directing them to the appropriate departments in a timely and professional manner.
* Offer hospitality services, including tea, coffee, and water, to enhance the customer experience while maintaining a high standard of service.
* Maintain ownership of the customer journey until they are attended to by the relevant department, ensuring seamless transitions.
* Engage with customers who are waiting, building rapport and ensuring they feel valued and attended to at all times.
* Take a proactive approach in managing all reception-related tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front-of-house area.
* Oversee petty cash management, creating timesheets, processing fuel expenses, and invoice verification with accuracy and accountability.
* Handle the distribution of mail and courier deliveries and arrange transport services such as taxis when required.
* Provide administrative support to the Sales Administrator as needed, ensuring operational efficiency across departments.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a client-facing role.
* Previous experience managing a high-volume switchboard is advantageous.
* Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of working collaboratively within a team environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both colleagues and customers.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach to service.
* Professional demeaner with a consistently high standard of personal presentation.
* Proficient in PC applications, with experience in CDK considered an advantage.
