IT Risk Specialist
We are seeking an experienced IT Risk Specialist to support our enterprise risk management activities across applications, clients, and regulatory initiatives.
This role involves partnering closely with technology, business, and compliance teams to identify, assess, and manage information security risks while helping stakeholders understand and address control requirements.
* Performing information security risk assessments for new and existing systems and initiatives
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks
* Clearly communicating risks, controls, and remediation options to technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Supporting remediation planning, risk acceptance, and ongoing risk tracking
* Maintaining and enhancing security policies, procedures, and risk management processes
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A solid understanding of information security & GRC principles, risk assessment practices, and regulatory expectations
* A working knowledge of common enterprise applications, operating systems, databases, and cloud technologies
* Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into business terms
* Self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
