Role Description
This role is for an Assistant Project Manager who provides structured support across all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and coordination to execution and monitoring. In this position, you will work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Key responsibilities include supporting project planning activities, developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, and tracking tasks, milestones, and deliverables. You will assist in coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring that timelines and priorities are clearly communicated to all stakeholders.
You will help organize and facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, document meeting notes, and track action items to ensure follow-up and accountability. Maintaining accurate project documentation, status reports, and performance updates is a critical aspect of the role.
The Assistant Project Manager will also support risk and issue management by identifying potential challenges, tracking risks, and assisting with mitigation plans. You may help manage changes to project scope or timelines by updating plans, tracking approvals, and ensuring proper documentation and version control.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will collaborate with team members across departments, support communication between stakeholders, and contribute to a structured and transparent project environment.
The Assistant Project Manager plays an essential role in maintaining project momentum, supporting efficient execution, and ensuring that project standards, processes, and best practices are consistently followed.
