About the role
1. The agency nurse appointed to this post will work within Primary Care in the PHN service as a community nurse
2. The work base will be the Primary Care Centre. Care is delivered in the client's home and also in the clinic setting-Travel around South Dublin necessary for this post. Staff are eligible to claim travel allowance for work related travel.
3. The service is provided Mon to Friday, 9- 5. Hours can be negotiated and part-time available
4. Onsite training and orientation provided for the agency nurse by HSE staff

Requirements
10. Access to own transport is required for this post.
11. Work authorisation is mandatory
12. NMBI registration as an RGN
13. Community nursing experience preferable
14. Acute experience working as a general nurse
15. Excellent wound care experience
Responsibilities:
16. Nurse-led wound care management – both in clinic and in the domiciliary setting
17. Diabetes management
18. Incontinence assessment and management
19. Nursing assessment post hospital discharge/GP referral
20. General nursing care for the chronically ill or disabled
21. Oncology support and end of life care
22. Nursing assessment for home supports
