TECHNICAL SALES PERSONOur client, Ireland's leading independent importer & distributor of electrical components and supplies with a nationwide branch network, is currently looking to recruit a Technical Sales Person with strong industry experience and a technical qualification, preferably.Join the External Sales team with this innovative, successful and highly reputable Irish owned company to benefit from great working environment & career prospects they offerKEY ACTIVITIES:Direct sales of electrical components to panel builders, electrical contractors, OEM's, wholesalers etcVisit key customers to maintain relationships, take new orders, following up with quality responses, arranging further client meetings, preparing quotations, negotiating sales & closing dealsVisit lapsed customers in your territoryBusiness development - developing new sales through proactive customer contact and excellent customer supportLiaise with and support inside sales/counter/stores teams and fellow regional sales executivesEnsure customer delivery schedules are metManaging the return of warranty and service exchange partsDelivering professional and efficient customer service at all timesMarket and competitor analysisAttending trade shows & representing the company at industry eventsSales CallsSet out and follow a plan to actively make 16-20 face to face sales calls per week and ensure each call is reported under CRM reporting system.Sales calls to be planned each Friday for the following week and Fridays should be used to follow up actions/quotes from the previous week.Sales calls should be carried out in a professional manner and where possible appointments should always be made in advance (if appropriate)PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:Candidates will have proven B2B sales skills and experienceExperience of electrical sales or very similar e.g. motor factors, engineered productsCommitment to customer service excellenceStrong CRM system and general IT skillsCOMPANY BENEFITS:Rewarding job in a thriving, vibrant companyStrong base salary and bonus structureCompany car & laptopPension schemeSports & social clubs
