Barden are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a leading Irish business to invite a commercial accountant to join their team as a Financial Analyst, to join their highly regarded commercial finance team.
This role would allow someone to get fully immersed and engage with stakeholders across the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
* Working collaboratively across departments including sales, operations, supply chain, and marketing teams to develop insights in trends and performance.
* Support teams in preparing their annual budgets and quarterly forecast cycles;
* Preparing forecasts and re-forecasts for assigned entities;
* Preparing monthly management accounts for assigned entities;
* Preparing reports to facilitate the board in decision making;
* Preparing business cases for new product or market initiatives;
* Identifying areas for continuous improvement;
* Ad hoc projects as required.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
* Qualified accounting professional with 1-3 years PQE experience;
* Big 4 trained, with exposure to a multinational environment;
* Proven problem-solving ability in previous analyst experience, particularly in root cause analysis;
* Strong numerical and analytical skills;
* Strong interpersonal skills;
* Experience in managing multiple stakeholders including senior management and delivering on tight reporting deadlines;
This role will be sitting in their Dublin city centre office and offers hybrid working.
