Business Development Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to lead and develop our customer base. The ideal candidate will possess recent field sales experience in the FMCG sector, with a proven track record of selling to independent retailers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop business opportunities in targeted national accounts within the FMCG sector.
* Manage contract negotiations, relationships, execution, and key performance indicators for assigned accounts.
* Oversee the joint business planning process to ensure aligned business objectives are met.
* BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS.
* Design trade and channel marketing plans tailored to individual customers, aligning with the Ireland business strategy.
* Manage account budgets to optimize spend in line with agreed objectives and contractual obligations.
* Foresight is essential using data analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
Requirements:
* A strong commercial acumen and ability to drive business growth.
* Proven leadership skills to manage high-performance sales teams.
* A track record of achieving sales and profit targets.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with adaptability across various audiences.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, preferably 3 years of experience in Key Account and National Account management.
* Industry expertise in FMCG, working with large chain retailers in Ireland is advantageous.
