Key Responsibilities
1. Taking ownership of and being responsible for your section in the kitchen, ensuring the smooth running of the section and maintaining high standards of cuisine and hygiene.
2. Preparing all ingredients for service to the required standard, with minimal wastage.

Main Objectives
* Maintain exceptional food quality while minimizing waste * Foster a positive working atmosphere by promoting inclusivity and respect within the team * ----------------------------------- A key objective is that you will have previous experience which would be advantageous if it has been gained within the hotel industry. You must possess excellent communications skills allowing you to communicate effectively with colleagues as well as your ability to work under pressure will be put into practice regularly due to peak periods which may arise.
You should also know about HACCP regulations giving guidance on how good food safety practices are maintained throughout all areas of operation (especially in storage). Also look forward towards collaborating closely together amongst different departments so everyone feels supported!
