We are looking for a creative and hands-on Marketing Specialist to bring 53 Degrees North to life across digital, in-store, and community channels. This role is all about execution, taking our brand strategy and turning it into campaigns, content, and events that connect with Ireland's outdoor community.
From writing emails and creating social posts to organising Adventure Club events, working with influencers, and supporting our stores, you'll play a key role in how customers experience the brand every day. This is a standalone, action-oriented role where you'll balance creativity with organisation and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver marketing campaigns across social, email, in-store, print, and outdoor media.
· Create and schedule engaging social media content across all platforms.
· Write and design email campaigns that drive engagement and sales.
· Organise Adventure Club events, ensuring smooth delivery and strong brand presence.
· Build relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and outdoor partners.
· Produce content (copy, images, short-form video where possible) that reflects our outdoor lifestyle and values.
· Support PR, sponsorships, and community partnerships.
· Collaborate closely with store teams to ensure effective in-store merchandising and marketing activity.
· Work with internal teams, including buying and e-commerce, to align campaigns with product launches, promotions, and seasonal activity.
· Coordinate with external suppliers and agencies when needed.
Key Skills & Experience
· Proven experience in marketing, ideally within retail, lifestyle, or outdoor sectors.
· Hands-on experience creating social media and email content.
· Strong organisational skills and ability to run campaigns from start to finish.
· Excellent written and visual communication skills.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with store staff and internal teams.
· Creative mindset with a practical, can-do approach.
