An opportunity has arisen to join our Phlebotomy reception/Lab office admin Department, as an Administrator.
This is a part time role, 22 hours per week.
In this role you will provide admin support working at reception of the blood testing department, delivering professional services to patients and working alongside other departments around the hospital.
You will be checking patients in for blood testing and dealing with any queries patients/consultants may have.
This role also involves delivering admin support for the lab office when necessary.
Professional qualifications, essential skills & knowledge: Knowledge, awareness and experience of administration.
Good PC Skills and computer literacy – proficiency in MS Word.
Medical Terminology desirable Previous experience in a similar role in a health care setting would be an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal skills and have an awareness / sensitivity towards patients.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Discretion and ability to use initiative.
