About the Role Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Financial Accountant will be a key member of the finance team. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing leadership and strategic insight while ensuring robust financial governance and reporting. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage teams to deliver internal and external reporting requirements. Prepare and analyse Group Financial Statements to strict deadlines. Develop financial forecasts for the group and its subsidiaries. Produce trading updates and strategic commentary. Provide technical accounting guidance and leadership. Oversee the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors. Ensure effective financial controls and compliance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function. Support business development and strategic projects. Mentor and develop finance team members. Engage with key internal and external stakeholders. What We're Looking For Essential: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Minimum 7+ years' post-qualification experience. Desirable: Strong technical accounting expertise. Construction/Engineering Industry experience. Commercial acumen with experience in strategic financial projects. Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a complex environment. Knowledge of Irish tax legislation. Project management experience. Demonstrated leadership in dynamic, fast-paced settings. Why Apply?
