The Social Care Manager role is responsible for overseeing a 24/7 refuge and community support service, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate staff to deliver high-quality trauma-informed support services.
* Manage staffing rotas, safeguarding practices, training initiatives, and compliance for the 24/7 service.
* Provide supervision, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for team members.
* Oversee client care, reporting requirements, and interagency collaboration efforts.
Essential Requirements:
* A degree in Social Care or an equivalent qualification.
* At least three years of experience in Social Care management within a care or refuge setting.
* Strong knowledge of domestic abuse and safeguarding best practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and IT skills.
* Flexibility and resilience to support a 24/7 service delivery model.
