Our organization seeks a skilled Quality Control Microbiologist to play a pivotal role in maintaining and upholding the highest standards of laboratory documentation and computerized systems data integrity. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out environmental and microbiological tests as required, defining and updating procedures for our facility relative to microbiological and environmental testing, validating equipment and test methods for microbiological tests, transferring microbiological methods, developing microbiological laboratory procedures, and maintaining accurate and detailed records of all tests performed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with laboratory documentation and computerized systems data integrity requirements.
* Develop a thorough understanding of regulations and business processes necessary to maintain laboratory data integrity.
* Conduct environmental and microbiological tests as necessitated by the project or research goals.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and update procedures related to microbiological and environmental testing within our facility.
* Validate equipment and test methods used for microbiological tests to ensure accuracy and precision.
* Develop and implement new microbiological laboratory procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests performed, ensuring transparency and accountability.
For this position, we are looking for an individual with a strong educational background in microbiology or a related science field, excellent knowledge of aseptic processes, and experience working within a GLP/GMP environment. Additionally, expertise in current EU/FDA/ICH/HPRA guidelines, lab experience in bioburden, endotoxin, growth promotion, and environmental monitoring, and familiarity with sterile cleanroom environments would be advantageous.
