Child and Family Care Professional
This role presents the opportunity to work with a team of care professionals delivering trauma-informed care to young people aged 13-17.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive care plans
* Promote autonomy and responsibility in each child/young person
* Enhance attendance at school and medical appointments
* Organise personal documents and finances on behalf of the young person
* Liaise with parents, family, and agencies on behalf of the young person
* Foster age-appropriate relationships through play and activities
* Provide well-balanced meals and undertake aspects of home management including budgeting and cleaning
* Participate in regular team meetings and report to the Social Care Leader/Manager
Requirements:
* Registration with CORU or eligibility for registration
* Demonstrated high standard of suitability and ability
