Design Engineer
Location: Meath, Ireland
Rate: €50,000 – 60,000 (DOE)
Bonus: Bonus paid (can be anywhere from €2-8k+ per annum)
Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00, Friday 08:00 – 13:00

Design Engineer Responsibilities
* Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop designs that meet exact specifications
* Translate conceptual sales drawings into manufacturing-ready technical drawings
* Use CREO to design large mechanical assemblies and components
* Engineer equipment such as conveyors, support structures, and handling systems
* Lead and participate in design reviews, value engineering, and product integration
* Manage your own engineering projects—from specification and planning through to delivery
* Liaise with customers, supply chain, and production to ensure seamless design-to-build handover
* Produce detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings that support production and installation
Design Engineer Qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* 4+ years’ experience in mechanical design or systems engineering
* Strong CREO skills (SolidWorks or AutoCAD also advantageous)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Track record of delivering complex projects to tight deadlines
* Comfortable juggling multiple priorities under pressure
