A well‑established insurance provider with a strong presence in the Irish market is seeking a
Broker Support Advisor
to join their team in
Cavan
. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Personal Lines experience who enjoys broker interaction, administration, and supporting underwriting teams in a structured, professional environment.
This role is particularly suited to candidates who are
APA qualified
or
near completion
(e.g., one exam remaining), and who want to build their career within underwriting operations and broker support.
The role:
This is a
broker liaison and administrative support
position, working closely with the underwriting team.
* Acting as the main point of contact for brokers regarding underwriting queries on motor products
* Liaising between brokers and technical underwriters to gather information and relay responses
* Managing administrative tasks to support underwriting processes
* Ensuring documentation, referrals, and broker communications are handled accurately and efficiently
* Coordinating with internal teams such as Accounts, Claims, and Audit when required
* Maintaining high service standards and meeting agreed timelines
Your profile:
* APA qualified or one exam left -
is a must

* Experience in a
Personal Lines insurance

* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Confident communicator who enjoys working with brokers
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow processes accurately
* Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
